Description about the hotel
The Beach &
Lake is a small privately owned Ayurvedic Resort,
8 kilometres south of Trivandrum International
Airport. Offering Therapeutic and Rejuvenating
Ayurvedic programmes, the resort is nestled
between the Arabian Sea and the Parvathi Puthanar
rivers, situated on an island.
On one side are the backwaters;
bordered by a forest of coconut palms, a natural
habitat for 31 odd species of migratory birds.
On the other side, a secluded expanse of beach
stretches 4 kms north to the lively beach
of Kovalam.
The resorts own boat soley
accesses this tanquil oasis.

The Beach & Lake Ayurvedic Resort is open
through the year. October to April is the
main tourist season. Optimum benefit can be
achieved by taking treatments during the rainy
season of June and July.

Kovalam is a popular tourist resort with shops,
restaurants and a full range of tourist facilities.
The season is October - April, when the average
temperature is around 32 degrees. Kovalam
is very used to Western travelers and has
the reputation of being the only place in
India where locals do not consider swimming
in the sea eccentric!
One of the world's greatest
beaches now a magnificent resort of the sun,
surf and sea. A beach paradise: the boundless
blue of the Arabian Sea and the unwinding
miles of the fine sanded beaches washed by
a surf which roars and hisses at the feet
of the stalwart palms.
